Genius Idea to Celebrate your Save the Date: Chicago Institute of Art Wedding

10 Dec

I love this idea from this Chicago Institute of Art wedding featured on Martha Stewart – The father of the bride took the couple’s beautiful, custom-designed save the date from Alexander & Company and turned it into a framed artwork-style poster for their new home.  Love this bride’s pretty bouquet of ranunculus, charm peonies, succulents, and dusty miller too!  Photographs are by Olivia Leigh Photographie.

Hand-Sewn Save-the-Dates in Majestic Purple and Gold

To add a luxe touch to any of your wedding or party paper goods, consider incorporating hand-stitiching. I love easy online wedding invitation sites that are available these days for their expediency and bargain prices, but nothing can replace the tactile quality of something that has been handmade with love and artistry. In something as important as a wedding invitation, if you want something of heirloom quality, those layered, artisan touches are key to elevate an invitation to a higher level of elegance.
