Ruby Red Antique-Look Menu Cards

27 Nov

You can actually get this charming, antique, mottled printing effect yourself at home.  Here’s how – simply design a layout with a colorful, dark background and white font. Then, print the cards on a textured cardstock, such as luxe cream fino from Paper Source on a color laser printer.  The ink will not fully fill in all the textural nooks and crannies, resulting in this romantic effect.

Pretty Monogram Details – Ideas for How to Use a Custom Monogram Stamp

25 Nov

One great, inexpensive way to add a personal, pretty touch to your entire wedding celebration – find a vendor on Etsy to design a custom logo for you and have it printed on cocktail napkins and made into a stamp to use on petal cones, welcome bags, favor tags, and programs. Who needs expensive custom printing? Of course if expensive custom printing, either letterpress or engraving, or thermography fits into your budget, have the logo printed professionally on all your paper goods to tie all the elements together into a cohesive design idea. You can find amazing, very pretty free printable monograms that you can customize here on The Wedding Chicks.
