Looking for a twist on the old guest book stand-by that doesn’t require any special materials or costly custom-printed cards? Here’s one idea from Sarah and Mike’s lovely late summer garden wedding – Take three small matched dishes (these are from Etsy, but you could also find something cute at World Market, or use your mom’s china, something you already own, etc.) and print or hand-write a sign for each of them that acts as a prompt for your guests to give you a piece of marriage advice – best romantic vacation, best date night ideas… Take a basic, plain scrapbook and mount envelopes flap side up on the pages so they can be opened. Your guests will take a card from one of the dishes, fill in their message, and place it in an envelope for an instant album – Simple and fun!
